Today on the anniversary of September 11th, we pray:

God of the ages, before your eyes all empires rise and fall, yet you are changeless. Be near us in this age of terror and in these moments of remembrance. Uphold those who work and watch and wait and weep and love. By your Spirit give rise in us to broad sympathy for all the peoples of your earth. Strengthen us to comfort those who mourn and work in large ways and small for those things that make for peace. Bless the people and leaders of this nation and all nations so that warfare, may become only a historic memory. We pray in the strong name of the Prince of Peace.

We will be having our first general Athletes Helping Athletes meeting on Wed after school in room 9. All existing members need to be there to fill out their volunteer forms and new members are welcome. We will be going to the Buddy Walk at Villa Nova on Oct 7th and need volunteers to run events there. Service hours are awarded and busing is provided.

The SAT course will begin today after school in room 117. Bring your calculators; the books are not necessary.

There will be signups today after school in Room 226 for any freshmen or sophomores wishing to join Mathletes.

Students arriving to school before 7:40 must report to the cafeteria.  No student should by walking the halls or at their lockers.
