Civic and Voting Lunch and Learn - St. Hubert’s High School for Girls

Hello Girls,

On Friday, October 18th, we’re hosting a Lunch and Learn session about voting featuring Commissioner Lisa Deely from the City of Philadelphia. Joining her will be City Councilman Mike Driscoll, State Senator James Dillon, and State Representative Pat Gallagher. This is a great opportunity to learn about voting, politics, the upcoming election day in 2024, and what it’s like to work at the polls.

We’ll have pizza, snacks, and drinks available! Sign up ASAP as seats are limited.

Announcements October 17, 2024

-Good Morning, Happy Thursday!

-Any student purchasing a ticket for the Mother/Daughter Social can pick up a picture envelope at the Main Office front counter up to October 18th.

-Students, please remember you are not allowed to use the vending machines in the Athletics hallway during the school day. Students may use the cafeteria vending machines during lunch only. There is no food permitted out of the cafeteria during the school day.

-DISMISSAL: LADIES PLEASE BE AWARE OF CARS DRIVING RECKLESSLY ON DITMAN & TORRESDALE AFTERSCHOOL. PLEASE USE THE CROSSWALKS. DO NOT LINGER AROUND AFTER SCHOOL SCHOOL.

-NO PARKING: Ditman (School Side) & Torresdale (In Front of School/Sisters’ Convent). Read the signs. Please arrive early to find a legal parking spot.

-Good Morning, Happy Wednesday!

-Join in a decade of the rosary on Tuesdays after school at 2:30 in the cafeteria chapel.

-$2 Volleyball dress-down day is Thursday, October 17, 2024,

-The next Varsity Mathletes practice will be held in Mr. Fitz's on Monday, October 21 from 2:40 pm to 3:30 pm.

-From Oct 14-18 CSC is raising money for Boot Up Philly which provides shoes, socks, and winter clothing to the homeless in Philadelphia. Each homeroom is challenged to collect $50 by the end of the week, for an $800 goal for the school! If we reach our school goal, we get a dress-down day. The homeroom with the highest collection beyond $50 will also win a treat. Please contribute!
